Introduction to Kundalini Energy YACEP (continuing ed for certified teachers, open to anyone)
Meetings: Feb 22 from 6:30 - 10pm & Feb 29 from 6:30 - 9:30pm
Credit: 6.5 YACEP hours
Teacher: Alex Pfeiffer, eRYT500
The goal of this training is to introduce you to working with Kundalini Energy. Kundalini Awakening is an extensive process that requires a strong container. This session is only an introduction. We will spend most of our sessions giving you felt sense of what a yoga practice focused on Kundalini would look like and then back it up with theory so you can apply it yourself.
Kundalini is the name of a sleeping dormant potential force in the human organism. Although it is said to reside in the Mooladhara Chakra, we are all at different stages of evolution. The purpose of this session is to introduce you to working with this staple of the Hatha Yoga Tradition.
If you know very little or nothing about Kundalini Energy and are looking for a philosophical and experiential introduction, this is the right training for you!
Note: This is a YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider®) class. It is therefore a universally recognized (through Yoga Alliance) continuing education program for certified yoga teachers who may count these hours for their required RYT Continuing Education Hours. This training is open to curious non-teachers, but will not be able to count for YACEP Credit without an existing certification.
